The 30-day Catalan challenge is designed for English speakers (although you do not have to be native). As English and Catalan are quite different languages, I teach 50% in English and 50% in Catalan.

You should have a solid knowledge of the basics of the Catalan language before starting the Challenge, so the it can be the most beneficial for you.

What to expect

Week 1

In the first week, we will go over the basics of everyday conversations: expressing likes and dislikes, how to make small talk, giving compliments, making plans, and expressing your opinions. Once you master this, you will be able to participate in conversations with ease.

In the second week, we're going to learn useful phrases, expressions and vocabulary for daily situations like the grocery store, the restaurant, the pharmacy, the clothing store and the hair salon. After you watch the lessons, you'll be more confident to speak Catalan in these settings.
