This is a two-day immersive language and culture retreat on the stunning Costa Brava. Our home for the retreat is the beautiful Can Melis “La Principal”, a traditional Catalan masia nestled in the peaceful Costa Brava countryside. We’ll all spend the night together, sharing the space as a group – an experience that’s central to the sense of connection and community throughout the retreat.

The masia offers warm, inviting common areas where we can relax between activities, practice Catalan in informal conversation, and gather for workshops, cooking sessions with Júlia, and lively Sardana dance classes. In the evenings, we’ll come together to share a meal, stories, and laughter, enjoying the unique charm and cultural atmosphere of a historic Catalan home.

Not at all! This retreat is open to all levels. Júlia will guide you through fun, inclusive activities that meet you where you are - whether you’re a total beginner or already speaking a bit. The goal is to build confidence, not perfection.

If you’re coming from other cities in Catalunya, you can reach Girona by train, bus, or car. Once you arrive in Girona, the bus will pick us up to take us to Can Melis “La Principal” for the retreat. We’ll also return you to Girona at the end of the weekend, making your journey smooth and stress-free.
